Construction of a bridge linking the shores of the Mackenzie River in Fort Providence, Northwest Territories. The cable-assisted main span allows for a navigation channel approximately 623 feet (190 m) wide. The 3,428-foot (1,045 m) long cable-stayed highway bridge consists of 9 spans. Rapid-Span was involved in the fabrication of the steel superstructure and steel towers (4,600 tons) and full depth precast concrete deck panels. Bridge was fabricated as part of a joint venture with Canam-Bridge.
