Through a design/build contract, the construction of a permanent vehicular bridge across 8 new railway lines at Kinder Morgan’s new rail terminal in Edmonton. The 66-metre-long 2 span bridge was designed for accelerated construction utilizing weathering steel girders and composite precast deck panels, ballast walls, and caps. The structural design was a collaborative approach between the design team, the contractor and Rapid-Span.
