Location: Near Spanish Lookout, Belize
Owner: Community of Spanish Lookout
Design, fabrication & shipping of the structural steel bridge to replace an older timber structure. The low level bridge was designed to AASHTO LRFD and is a 5 span, 2 lane, 55 metre long bridge. The all-steel bridge was designed to be easily installed without specialized equipment, be able to withstand side debris impact, and is able to be submerged up to 10 meters deep when the river level rises during the rainy season.
