The Kâhasinîskâk pedestrian bridge translates to slow moving water in English and crosses Connors Road to connect to the existing river valley path network.  The bridge design takes into account the natural meandering terrain of the river valley.  The superstructure was fabricated at our plant in Armstrong, B.C in four sections to allow for easier transportation.  When fabrication was complete, the sections were shipped to Supreme Steel’s plant near Edmonton so that they could weld the sections together to create a complete superstructure.  The steel superstructure was shipped and erected in one piece.  The new bridge will allow vehicles and the new Valley Line SE LRT infrastructure to easily pass underneath.
