Location: Near Holland, MB, Canada
Owner: RM of Victoria
Through a Design-Build contract, the construction of a permanent vehicular bridge across a local river that had washed out the existing culverts. The 30 metre long, 2 lane bridge was designed for accelerated construction utilizing weathering steel girders and composite precast deck panels. The project included precast caps and ballast walls. The structural design was a collaborative approach between the design team, the contractor and Rapid Span.
